All coaching sessions can be conducted in person (location dependent) or virtually, giving you the flexibility to stay consistent no matter where life takes you.
Some weeks you may need a workout partner and coach by your side in the gym. Other times, you may benefit more from reviewing your progress, troubleshooting challenges, or creating a plan for the next phase of your journey.
Your coaching evolves with you, so you always have the support you need to keep moving forward.
Prefer to train independently?
Independent clients can purchase individual coaching or personal training sessions for $105 / 60 minutes whenever they want additional support, a form check, goal review, or hands-on coaching.
Getting Started
Every Strong For Life coaching membership begins with a Stronger You Roadmap to establish your starting point, clarify your goals, and create a personalized path forward.
Before I write your training program, I want to understand you—your goals, your experience, how you move, your current habits, and what you want your health and fitness to look like moving forward.
Your Stronger You Roadmap is a 90-minute personalized assessment and action-planning session that gives us the information we need to create a program that's right for you.
Stronger You Roadmap — $149
There's no obligation to continue into Strong For Life after your Roadmap. You'll leave with personalized recommendations and an action plan you can use whether we continue working together or not.
If you decide to join Strong For Life within 4 weeks of completing your Roadmap, you'll receive a $50 credit toward your first month of membership.
That means your Roadmap is effectively $99 as part of your Strong For Life onboarding.
For Independent clients, your $50 credit covers your first month of personalized programming.
Your Strong For Life membership doesn't begin until your personalized program is ready to start, so you won't pay for coaching time or sessions while we're completing your Roadmap and preparing your program.
Ready to See if Strong for Life is Right for You?
Let's start with a conversation.
Your complimentary 30-minute consultation gives us a chance to get to know each other, talk about your goals and the kind of support you're looking for, and decide together whether Strong For Life Coaching is the right fit.
There's no pressure to sign up—and you don't need to know which coaching option you need before we talk. We'll figure that out together.
Frequently Asked Questions
Strong For Life is designed to provide structure and consistency without expecting life to go perfectly according to plan. Here are answers to some of the questions you may have about how coaching works.
-
Yes. Every Strong For Life client begins with a Stronger You Roadmap.
Before I create your program, I want to understand you. Your goals, experience, current habits, movement, lifestyle, and what you want to feel more capable of doing.
The Roadmap gives us a clear starting point and helps me create a program that's appropriate for your body, your goals, and this season of your life. It's an important part of making Strong For Life truly personalized rather than simply handing you a workout plan
-
You don't need to figure that out before we talk.
During your complimentary consultation, we'll talk about your goals, experience, schedule, and the kind of support that would be most helpful. Together, we'll decide whether Independent, Guided, or Momentum makes the most sense as a starting point.
And that choice isn't permanent. The amount of support you need can change over time.
-
Absolutely. In fact, I expect that the right level of support may change as you become more confident, your goals evolve, or life gets busier.
You might begin with more hands-on coaching and eventually feel ready to train more independently. Or you may be doing well on your own and decide you'd benefit from more support for a period of time.
We'll continue to talk about what's working and adjust your level of coaching when it makes sense. Changes are generally made for the next monthly billing cycle and are subject to scheduling availability.
-
Strong For Life memberships are built around a consistent coaching cadence, rather than a set number of sessions each calendar month.
If we normally meet once a week, we'll continue with our regular weekly schedule, even when a month happens to have five weeks.
I also know that real life doesn't always fit neatly into a calendar. Over time, there may be weeks when we don't meet because of travel, illness, holidays, or other schedule changes. The goal isn't to count individual sessions from month to month, but to maintain a consistent coaching rhythm that supports your progress.
-
Life happens, and there's flexibility built into your membership.
If you miss an occasional coaching session, we can carry one session forward into the following month and find a time to make it up.
Unused sessions don't continue to accumulate beyond that. If you know you'll be away for several weeks or need to step back from regular sessions for a period of time, we'll talk about adjusting your level of coaching support instead.
The goal is to give you flexibility when you need it while maintaining the consistency that makes ongoing coaching valuable.
-
We'll adjust.
If travel, work, family commitments, or another season of life makes regular coaching sessions difficult for a month or two, moving temporarily to Independent may make more sense than paying for sessions you can't use.
You'll still have your personalized program, app access, progress tracking, and coach support, and I can adjust your training to fit your circumstances and available equipment. When you're ready for regular sessions again, we can move you back to Guided or Momentum based on availability.
I want your coaching to support your life, not become one more thing you have to manage perfectly.
-
I understand that schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give me at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.
With at least 24 hours' notice, we'll work together to reschedule based on availability.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are generally considered used. I also understand that genuine emergencies and unexpected situations happen, and exceptions may be made at my discretion.
The policy helps me protect the time I've reserved specifically for you while still leaving room for real life.
-
The same flexibility goes both ways.
If I need to cancel one of our scheduled sessions, we'll reschedule it at a mutually convenient time. You won't lose a coaching session because I'm unavailable.
If I'm traveling, we'll plan ahead whenever possible. Depending on the circumstances, sessions may be rescheduled or held virtually so that we can maintain your regular coaching rhythm.
-
Yes. Sometimes you may want an extra form check, training session, goal review, or a little more hands-on support without changing your regular membership.
Additional 60-minute coaching or personal training sessions can be added based on availability at the current individual session rate of $105.
Independent clients can use this option whenever they'd like some additional one-on-one support.
-
Yes, but you don't have to be an "app person" to be successful with it.
The Katie Stauffer Training app is where you'll find your personalized workouts, exercise demonstrations, and progress tracking. It also gives us a shared place to communicate about your program and make adjustments as you progress.
I'll help you get set up and comfortable using it when we begin. The goal is for the technology to make your training simpler, not give you another complicated thing to manage.
-
That's completely okay.
You don't need to know your way around a gym or already feel strong before starting Strong For Life. I'll meet you where you are, focus on movements that are appropriate for your current ability and experience, and progress from there.
Part of my job is helping you understand why you're doing what you're doing and become more confident with movement and strength training over time.
-
Strong For Life isn't only for beginners.
If you already have training experience, we'll use your Roadmap to understand what you're currently doing, where you may be getting stuck, and what you want to work toward next.
Your program and our coaching can focus on progression, technique, consistency, changing goals, or simply making sure the work you're putting in is supporting what you want your body to be able to do.
-
We'll talk about it during your consultation and Stronger You Roadmap so I can understand what's going on and determine whether Strong For Life is an appropriate fit.
When appropriate, I can modify exercises and programming around your current needs and work alongside recommendations from your physician, physical therapist, or other healthcare provider.
There are also times when the right first step is getting evaluated or cleared by an appropriate healthcare professional. If that's the case, I'll tell you. My goal isn't to push you through something that doesn't feel right. It's to help you build strength safely and confidently.
-
Building strength and lasting habits takes time, but I also want you to stay because coaching is valuable to you—not because you're locked into something that no longer fits.
Strong For Life is an ongoing monthly coaching membership. As you progress, we'll continue to evaluate your goals and the amount of support you need. That might mean continuing with regular coaching, moving to a different membership level, or eventually feeling ready to train more independently.
Ultimately, success isn't about needing me forever. It's about becoming stronger, more knowledgeable, and more confident in your ability to take care of yourself for the long term.
Ready to build Strength for Life?
You don't have to figure out the perfect program or the right level of support on your own.
Let's talk about where you are, where you'd like to go, and whether Strong For Life can help you get there.
Hi! I’m Katie, a fitness and healthy habits coach for women who want to age well. I know from personal experience what it is like to try to balance work, family, life, healthy habits and exercise, and how that all changes as we get older.
I’m a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach and women’s coaching specialist who is personally experiencing many changes in my mid-forties and has worked to sift through the information overload to find what works for me now. These experiences have made me ever more passionate to help other women find the time to prioritize their own strength, health and wellness in the midst of changing bodies and every day responsibilities.
This is why I created my programs. I want to help take the guesswork out of getting started with healthy habits that build the foundation for a stronger and healthier you through this phase of life and beyond.
I can’t wait to support you and cheer you on!
Katie
